FOR 2011... (I FORGOT TO MENTION...)

I guess it would have been nice for me to tell you where I am in my single life lol. It's simple, really. I believe now, more than ever, I'm closer to meeting the man that God has for me. It's sort of the way I explained about the blog: I believe that I've accomplished all that God has called me to accomplish in this part of my singleness and He's moving me to the next level. Getting rid of some things that were taking my mind off of waiting (distractions), is preparing my heart to receive him into my life. The only thing I know at this point is that He will come when I least expect it and in God's perfect timing. Of course, after we've met, when the time is right, I will let you know.

Continue praying for/about your future husband. Continue to allow God to work on you, change you, and transform you for Him before you are blessed with your "him".

Ok, that's it for real lol. Happy New Year.

  1. I tell you...this blog is truly inspiring. And I agree. I think you are closer to meeting him too...just a feeling.

  2. In my mind I want a new relationship but when I think about the work involved it drains me. I'm going to spend this year working on me and if a guy comes out of it then so be it.

    Good luck with your journey.

  3. I'm not trying to be glib, but God sent my husband when I wasn't looking for him, when I wasn't thinking about it. I was completing my graduate degree. I actually tried to get rid of him the night we met, because I didn't want to be bothered. We've been married almost ten years now. And God has blessed us tremendously. I pray God sends you the man you need when it is time.

  5. Just be friendly and open when you are at a traffic light, at Home Depot, at the gas station, at a friends get together. Be open to meet all type of people...don't focus on that list you have. Also don't be so holy that you are scary or weird to potential mates, lol.

  6. @.Chymere: Thank you :-)I have a feeling too, just don't know when :-) God's timing :-)

@Adrienne: That's the best approach to have. You're supposed to work on you first. Relationships do take work, but they shouldn't BE work. God bless you as you work on working on you :-)

@Kwiz: You weren't being glib. I understand where you're coming from. I understand that meeting my husband is totally in God's timing but there are times when I believe that that time is soon. I'm sure I'll meet him when I least expect it, when I'm not thinking about it.

@starlee: Thank you :-) Yes, here's to us future wives :-) God Bless you too.

@Sistergirl: More than likely my husband will probably notice me because of the total opposite. I'm an introvert by nature so he'll probably see me in a more lower key form. My list isn't a list really, more of the desires of my heart. Lists are what mess some women up. They tend to be really superficial. If my holiness scares someone away, good. That probably wasn't the person for me anyway.
