IN SICKNESS AND IN HEALTH

Hello everyone. I often say that my parents are the greatest example I have regarding marriage because I see vows in action. I've seen in good times and bad, for richer or for poorer. And now, in sickness and in health.

On Saturday, my mom received a lung transplant. Everything is good, praise God. But it's moments like this where I'm reminded that vows aren't mere words.

I'm not making this a long post. Just wanted to share. Hopefully it's an encouragement to you as you go on your journey toward marriage.

CHRONICLES IS BACK...

Hello Ladies...welcome back to a new-look and a new Chronicles. Thank you for your patience as I took some time away from the blog to reflect. As always God gave me something that really blessed me. In a nutshell He made me see that my true chronicles lies in what happened before I considered myself to be a future wife. I went through a wonderful transformation and that story needs to be shared. So that's the new direction that Chronicles is taking.

The features on the blog will remain, they just won't be weekly, save for Wedding Wednesday. I still want this to be a place of encouragement and upliftment for the single woman of God. Please go to the "Features" section to see details about features.

UPDATE

Good Day everyone. Well, I wanted to give you a little update since I've taken some time away from the blog. I want to make sure that the blog is going in the right direction so I'm taking some time to pray and reflect on some things.

It's amazing how God, in an instant, can take you from one place to another and I believe that's what he's doing as far as my singleness is concerned. He has to come first before anything, including my desire to be married. That's where I am now.

Again, I want to be sure I'm going in the right direction with the blog. I want what I share to be a direct reflection of what's going on in my life. I also want to continue to share things that will uplift and encourage you in your walk. When my heart and mind are clear I will return.
